Rimmel London Scandaleyes Retro Glam Mascara Review and how to

If you haven't heard already Rimmel London has released a new mascara this month called Scandaleyes Retro Glam.
I received my mascara complimentary from Influenster in my Rose VoxBox it retails for 5.99. What a great price right!!

Okay so Ive been using this mascara for almost a month now and I'm really loving it. Most drug store mascaras have heavy,flaky,clumpy formulas I cannot tell you how many bottles of mascara I have thrown away not to mention I paid well about 5.99 for them also.

Rimmel Londons Scandaleyes Retro Glam doesn't weight my lashes down and it has a BIG wand which I love! The bigger the mascara bottle and wand the better for me! I always find that a big wand really lifts my lashes up high and Rimmel Londons hour glass shaped wand is perfect! It reaches the middle of my lashes perfectly which is a trouble spot for my lashes and it doesn't clump which is a big thing that i look for in my mascaras.

okay so i am going to tell you how i achieved my 

own eye-conic 60s look inspired by Georgia May Jagger.
First i primed my eyes and put a little on my eyebrows then placed tape on the sides of both of my eyes.

I started off with a black matte eyeshadow in the middle and cut my crease first then i added a grayish sort of shimmery shadow to my lid  and high lighted my brow bone.For the bottom of my eyes i used a flat brush and swiped that black matte shadow and smudged it.  For the lashes (my favorite!) i curled my lashes and applied Rimmel Londons Scanadaleyes Mascara. I used the middle to lengthen the middle of my lashes which are my trouble spot. I kind of wiggle the wand at the base of my lashes then comb them with the mascara wand until they reach the desired length. I was so excited because i didn't have to curl my lashes again after applying my mascara.
I finished off with a soft pink blush and a nude lip
Of course my look doesn't compare to Georgia May Jaggers but it was fun trying to recreate it.

Rimmel London Stay Matte Liquid Mousse Foundation

Hi lovelies! So I'm suuuuper excited to tell you about a product i received complimentary from Influenster for testing purposes.

It is the StayMatte Liquid Mousse foundation.
So, I have tried so many foundations over the years the number 1 problem i always have is the color. I am so light with pink cheeks that even the lightest color is either too light or the second one up is like grey-ish looking. No one wants to look dirty when wearing makeup right?

I was so happy and surprised how well that this foundation matched my skin. I chose the 100 Ivory. It comes out thick but super fluffy and airy, if that makes sense.. you would have to try it to know what I'm talking about. It was really easy to blend, felt really light almost like it wasn't there to be honest. It dries to a smooth matte finish and the best part it isn't greasy or sticky after you apply it. To further test it i did not set it with any powder and...... it lasted all day and my face wasn't greasy at all!

Now another problem i have as stated above is the stickiness when it dries. I absolutely hate that! it ruins my powder, my face looks and feels nasty and i feel like my skin cant breathe. I was really impressed with how light this was compared to my 10 bottles of foundation i have in my makeup box, seriously.

This was my box . Also i really loved the packaging the tube also has a matte finish and i really liked the purple cap super cute.
This foundation can be found at your local drug stores or Target , Walmart etc.I suggest you go out and try it, its honestly a really great product and at a great price.
One more thing that i almost forgot. When i was researching on what shade i should get i read reviews saying that this foundation dries orange or something. I had NO problem with this and I've been wearing it pretty much everyday. I'm thinking maybe they were not getting their colors right maybe?

Goody Ouchless Ribbon Elastics

I have another great product to share with you. I also received it from influenster for testing purposes.

I received this pack of goody ribbon elastics. I was excited to get these because my friend Maria (heyyy maria!) sent me some of these in one of our beauty swap boxes and I used them so much they ended up stretching out and breaking but now I have 5 more!! I'm wearing one right now, i decided to tweet a pic for you I'll post it below

What i really love about these is that you can wear your hair up and when you take it down you don't get that ugly crease that other hair ties give you. If you can braid (which i can't) these ribbon elastics look really cute on the end of your braid.

I was able to test this product for a week while i was on vacation at the beach. I was really surprised how well it stayed on my face and kept me from getting sunburned. i did skip it the last day of vacation and my face ended  up getting sun burnt so yes it does work! I just found out the hard way.

My skin care routine is fairly simple unless I'm going out. Being a mom and the only girl in my house i either have to wake up or get ready before anyone wants to go anywhere or get ready super fast! with Olay Fresh Effects BB Cream i am able to do that. To show you i uploaded my vine video to YouTube so i can show you on here.

my skin is fair and my cheeks are sometimes red from my rosacea. I really liked that the BB cream was light but also covered up my imperfections as well. If you are someone who needs a better coverage this is a great product to use under your foundation as well.

I have tried many BB creams and i have to say i really like this product. Some of the BB creams i used in the past were too watery or felt like sand paper.

Dr Scholls For Her High Heel Insoles

Hello!
I am so excited to share my little secret with you. In the past I've never really believed in insoles. My husband buys them all the time for his running shoes,work shoes and regular shoes. (Dr Scholls brand actually) I don't know why i was such a skeptic and yet i was the main one with foot pain.

I was excited when I received my sunkissed vox box from Influenster. It was really easy to insert the insoles into my shoes. The insoles came with a sticky back which made it so easy to use them! Unlike a pair i tried in the past the insole was slipping around everywhere, it was horrible. I think that's why i was hesitant. The second thing that i loved is that i could use my insoles with peep toe shoes!
They are so lightweight you can't really tell they are there but they make your feet feel like you are walking on clouds!

They are almost invisible also you can wear them with strappy heels also or heels with no backs. No one is going to see them!

See you can't even see them. I also *attempted* to make a YouTube video. I used my phone so it is not the best video but it will give you a general idea on how they look and work.

Ivory®'s New 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash REVIEW

Hello!
     I am excited to share my thoughts on Ivory®'s New 2-IN-1 Hair & Body Wash that i received  complimentary from influenster!

I received the blue bottle. The first thing i did was smell it and i was surprised it actually smelled clean and had a really good scent to it!

 

In the past i have had problems with 2 in 1 products. I cannot use shampoo plus conditioner because it just dries my hair out and it's a tangled mess! Ivory's 2 in 1 hair and body wash is actually creamy feeling if that makes sense. It reminds me of Finesse how it cleans and leaves your hair soft. So i was very happy with the results even though i do have to use conditioner only because my hair tangles very easily.

 

 

My son who will only use character soaps and shampoos said he  likes this as well.  He smells so clean which is a huge thumbs up from this mom! 

 

Once i run out of this bottle i plan to buy some more, id like to smell the orange one next.

Hello! Happy last day of November! Where has the year gone? This year has went by so fast!
Since tomorrow marks the fist day of December and we are rushing around trying to figure out what to buy our children,siblings,nieces,nephews etc.. I have found these cutest video sets that are educational.

As a mother I've always tried to buy toys and videos that were also educational and i really like the Dino Lingo videos.

The only complaints I have are  #1 the taste. It was very bitter but that is expected since it is all natural with only 150 mg of stevia leaf extract and #2 would be the price. I'm a bit cheap (ha ha)

I really loved these wipes. You can use them for your hands or face. As a mom, I am always cleaning my sons hands and face because he is always getting dirty.

What i really love about this product is not only is it convenient ( they come in individual size packet) but they are alcohol free and all natural..  That really makes me happy that i am not cleaning my son with harsh chemicals.

 They really did a great job at removing all the dirt from my sons face and hands. i cut the wipe in half so i could try a piece on my face. While cleaning my face and my sons hands and face the wipe stayed very moist which i was really surprised.

The scent is really great it smelled like lemon but not too strong.
