Pork (R) BE Inspired Campaign by Bzzagent

I received coupons and recipes from bzzagent. I made a spiral ham and eggrolls.

Recipe Details

This is the recipe i received in my recipe cards.

Prep Time: 20 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours
Servings: 20
FOR ROASTS, CHOPS and TENDERLOINS
Cook to 145 F with 3 minute rest

Ingredients

1 bone-in ham, cooked, 10-12 pounds
2 cups orange juice
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup molasses
2 tablespoons brown sugar
2 tablespoons Dijon-style mustard
1 tablespoon black pepper, coarsely ground

Cooking Directions

Place ham in shallow roasting pan; score a diamond pattern about 1/8-inch thick into the upper surface of the ham. Position rack in the lower third of the oven; heat to 325 degrees F. Place ham in oven and bake until internal temperature, as measured with a meat thermometer, reads 130 degrees F., about 1 1/2-2 hours.
Meanwhile, in a small saucepan bring the orange juice to a boil; reduce heat to a simmer and reduce the orange juice by about half, stirring occasionally, about 15-20 minutes. Stir in honey, molasses, brown sugar, mustard and pepper. Simmer slowly until thickened, about 25-30 minutes. Set aside.
When ham reaches 130 degrees F., start basting: Using a pastry brush, brush the glaze generously on all surfaces of the ham. Continue to bake for 10 minutes; baste again two more times, until internal temperature of ham reaches 140 degrees F. Remove from the oven and let the ham rest in roasting pan on a rack for at least 10 minutes, or up to 30 minutes. Baste with the drippings in the bottom of the pan a few times before carving.
Serves about 20, with leftovers.

I also made my eggrolls that i have blogged about before. i will share that recipe with you again.
They are so delicious and will make a great appetizer for your graduation parties or summer cook outs.

 Ingredients:
2 Pounds of Ground Pork
Green Onions (diced)
1 Bag of Baby Carrots (diced)
1 Can of Water Chestnuts ( these can be found in the Asian or ethnic aisle of your grocery store or Wal-Mart)
Salt,Pepper and Garlic powder (however much you like)
2 packs of either eggroll wrappers or won ton wrappers ( i like both of them, these will be in the section with the tofu and premade guacamole in your grocery store or Wal-Mart)
1 Bowl of water (to dip fingers in to seal the eggrolls.)

After you cut up all of your ingredients they should look like this. ( i use a food processor its fast and easy )

Now dump all of your ingredients into the ground pork and mix it together.

Add a thin line of the meat mixture to the wrapper

Roll it and leave a little room at the end, you are going to dip your finger in the water and apply water to that part you have left open. Finish rolling and add a little of water to the outside to seal it.

Don't forget to seal the outside with a little water! :)

Keep rolling.....

When you're finished rolling you will need to fry them. You can use any oil of your choice.

fry until they are golden brown.

Once they are a golden brown take them out and let them rest on a paper towel to soak up the extra oil. You can add salt to them if you would like.

I like to eat mine with sweet and sour sauce and also a duck sauce. You can buy these in any grocery store or in the ethnic aisle in Wal-Mart. I buy the LaChoy brand.

Try these out for your next party they are sure to be a hit
